- We appreciate your donated, gently used books, audio books, and even LPs.
- Donations of fewer than 50 books may be left at the Scott St. Library, in the silver donation bin in the lobby or on the table behind the librarian's desk. (The donation bin is located to the right of the lobby elevator.) A push cart located the stairwell may be used to bring donations from your car to the library.
- For donations exceeding 50 books, please call the Beaufort downtown library at 843-255-6456. The library staff will have a sort room volunteer contact you to discuss donation options.
- Please do not donate books that have been stored in a garage or shed. We cannot sell books that have mold or torn covers.
- Please do not donate household goods, pet toys, kitchenware, etc.
- Please check back periodically as our donation status changes when space becomes limited. Thank you for your understanding and overwhelming support!
NOTE: Magazine donations may be placed in the free magazine box located inside the Scott St. Library.
All donated materials become the property of the Friends of Beaufort Library and will be used in a manner which best benefits our libraries.
